“Honey, get away from the widow. You’ll get sick.”
Doing the exact opposite, you pulled the blanket tighter around yourself and stepped closer to the open bedroom windows. You inhaled the fresh scent of rain, feeling some small droplets falling onto your face with a cold touch.
“Why won’t you ever listen to me,” Jeonghan sighed, standing behind you with his hands on your shoulders.
Slowly, almost hesitantly, you shifted your gaze from the rainstorm to turn around and look at another miracle that was your boyfriend.
You took one of his palms and kissed it gently, running a thumb over the soft skin of his hand. This was your little sign to show him how much you appreciated him being there with you, even though you knew how easily cold he got. but he couldn’t resist, seeing how mesmerized you were by the rain, almost as if you were in a trance. He was sure that if he got to see your eyes, they would be shining with curiosity and the softest expression would adorn your face.
Without hesitation, Jeonghan joined you to look at the night sky filled with dark clouds and pouring rain.
“You should get away from the window Hannie. You’ll get cold,” you said softly, dropping the blanket from your shoulders to put it over his. You made sure that he was properly wrapped up, before turning around to the rainfall that was going on outside.
Thoughts were flying through your head, but for the first time in a while, they didn’t feel overwhelming. Your mind was drifting from one memory to another of the last weekend that you got to spend at a getaway with Jeonghan.
Distracted by your thoughts, you didn’t notice the warm feeling enveloping you, simultaneously sheltering you from the wind blowing through the window.
Only when you felt two familiar arms pulling you by your waist to a body as warm as the sun, did your attention land on the blanket surrounding your body once again.
“Can’t let you freeze,” he whispered and nuzzled the side of your head with his nose. Unconsciously, you leaned into his touch, putting your hands over his warm ones, and allowed your head to rest in the crook of his neck.
If anyone had ever asked you to describe your safe space, this is what you’d describe.
You, in Jeonghan’s arms, who, despite disliking the cold is standing there with you, wrapped tightly in a blanket together, holding each other close.
“I wish we could stay like this forever,” you murmured, nuzzling your head further into Jeonghan’s neck, inhaling his soft scent that always brought some sort of peace and comfort to you.
“And I wish we could stay forever like this,” he said, putting his hand on your cold cheek, tilting your face to capture your lips in a heartfelt kiss.
“Oh, baby,” Mingyu sighed and crouched down where you were laying on the couch.
He smiled to himself, taking in your tired form wrapped up in a blanket and what he was sure was one of his hoodies.
You were his little cute burrito.
He gently cradled your face, stroking your cheek with his thumb. He knew there was nothing he could do about his crazy schedules, but his heart broke every time he came home and saw that you were still awake, waiting for him.
“It has been going on for days now. You’re not getting enough sleep, baby.”
You knew that very well, but it wasn’t like you could do anything about it. During those past few weeks it seemed that you couldn’t properly fall asleep.
That is until Mingyu came home.
You missed waking up with him. You missed his morning voice and his honey irises lighten up by the morning sun. You missed kissing the mole on his nose to wake him up. You missed the weight of his arm around your waist, that never wanted to let you go out of bed.
You missed him.
Every time you’d wake up he’d be gone and come back when you were already asleep.
“I didn’t get my morning kiss today,” you pouted slightly, nuzzling your face into his hand.
“You did get one, but you were sleeping,” he smiled at you with a soft expression, that carried nothing but love.
You grumbled something under your breath, causing Mingyu to let out an adorable giggle, that always made you smile in return.
“Just wait one more week, and you’ll get as many morning kisses as you want,” he said pecking your cheek. “I’ll give you a hundred morning kisses if that’s what you want,” he said looking you deeply in the eye.
“That sounds great,” you yawned, grabbing Mingyu’s hand. “But you know what I really want right now?” you whispered.
“that one looks like a penis,” you say conversationally.
minghao casts you one, long look from his side of the blanket. “is this not supposed to be romantic?” he questions you, with a suppressed smile playing on his lips.
↬ offer to do all the house chores, like washing the dishes, doing the laundry etc. he’s literally a house husband.
↬ another pouty baby. really likes the cling onto you with those huge muscles so you’ll have no choice to but stay with him.
↬ loves to go on dinner dates with you whenever your both free from a busy schedule. likes to have it at-least once a week. he’s sooooo romantic. even if you don’t have time for a long nice dinner date, he’ll take you on a walk to the park. anywhere as long as he spends time alone time with you away from work and any work calls.
↬ he’s literally so babygirl coded. would get all flustered and shy when you compliment him. hiding behind your shoulder or hiding his face in your neck with his arms wrapped around you. doesn’t mind you teasing him either.. he’ll get all pouty and shy.
↬ he’s such a cheesy man.. would come up with the cheesiest pick up line ever. no matter what your doing. cooking. brushing your teeth. “i think someone must have stolen the stars and put them in your eyes” (o_0) CHEESY NICKNAMES !!
↬ i see mingyu as a person who really likes to have skin contact with their partner every way possible. linking pinkies. holding hands. arms around your shoulder or waist. has to be touching you in any way.
↬ would be your personal driver. like wdym he’s busy rn ??? he’s totally free and can definitely take you wherever and whenever. it’s 3am and your hungry ? “go get dressed more warmly and let’s go. i’ll pay so don’t worry. pfft what ???. no i’m not tired. come on, let’s go now”
↬ literally your personal heated blanket… once he lays on top of you. he’s never getting off. he’s just always so warm. if you always have cold hands he’ll keep his hands on yours or stuff your hand in his pockets.
↬ also your personal chef. learns to cook your favourite food. makes the best ramen (according to wonwoo). if your hungry at 4am, he’ll make you a meal. if you skipped lunch ? you’d bet he’s gonna cook a meal that can feed a whole family.
↬ i feel like he’s big on pda. really likes to show you off (≧▽≦). in public or on social media. gotta let everyone knows he’s taken by a goddess..
